Originality and Plagiarism

All articles published in Smart and Green Materials must be free from plagiarism. Therefore, submitted articles will undergo a thorough plagiarism check using the Turnitin tool, or authors may be required to provide proof that their work is original.

Plagiarism occurs when an author utilizes someone else's work, often that of another author, without obtaining permission, giving credit, or acknowledging the original source. Plagiarism can manifest in various ways, ranging from direct copying to rephrasing the content of another's work. Authors must ensure that their works are completely original. If they have incorporated the ideas or words of others, proper citation or quotation should be employed.

This policy reflects Smart and Green Materials' commitment to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and promoting ethical practices in scientific research.
